EPA approved method for free available and total chlorine testing

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved the use of Palintest’s methods for the determination of free available and total chlorine, including hypochlorous acid, hypochlorite ion, and undissociated chlorine, in drinking water by amperometry using pre-calibrated disposable sensors in a Palintest Kemio device.



The publication of Palintest’s alternative testing methods in the Federal Register makes these analytical methods legally available as options for meeting EPA’s monitoring requirements in determining compliance with national primary drinking water regulations within The Safe Drinking Water Act.
